When Daughters of Simone designer Ashley married her fiance Terrance against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Como, Italy, the results were nothing short of EPIC.
So meticulously and beautifully styled, this wedding is jaw-droppingly good.
For the ceremony the American couple chose Il Giardino del Merlo, a botanical garden filled with exotic plants, bridges and tunnels, created on the steep rocks below the church of St. Euphemia from Musso, with the reception at Villa Camilla, a nineteenth century luxury property boasting Italian architectural elegance, situated on the idyllic Western shores of Lake Como.
With a 1960's Slim Aarons vibe to the setting, the reception strikes just the right balance between decadence and cool. I'd describe this scene as 'laid back Gatsby'. Mismatched seating, impeccably dressed guests and an air of California dreaming. Truly exquisite.
Dried leaves, fresh fruits, dripping wax over vintage candlesticks, these are details that 'marry' in the romance yet keep the look fresh and modern.
Palms and paper stars flood the luscious landscape, creating a celestial bohemia, providing the most stunning backdrop for purely magical wedding pictures.
The groom wore a suit with custom embroidery, effortlessly complementing the brides vintage inspired etheral look.
No words neccessary for this incredible natural backdrop.
I think its safe to say that whoever was in charge of 'venue sourcing' really delivered here!
